About our Studio

Our brand new Studio is custom designed to produce top quality audio recordings. Seating up to four people, it has the following key features:

  • Heavy-duty multiple layer sound isolation.
  • Professional microphones and recording equipment for top sound quality including:
    • 4x Shure SM7B microphones
    • Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 interface
    • Industry-standard Pro Tools digital editing
  • Ability to incorporate recording via Teams, Zoom or phone.

You can hire our studio by the hour or we’ll provide a quote for completing a particular project. Hire charges include a production engineer during the recording and we can offer professional post-production for an additional hourly charge.

We employ experienced sound and production engineers to ensure the highest standards and we can also help you source the right voice for your project.

Standard hours of operation: Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm. Out of hours work also available on request.

Today it produces hundreds of books a year and offers a library of over 15,000 audiobooks to over 17,000 members of the print disabled community, bringing text to life for those who can’t read for themselves.

As a charity supporting the print-disabled, we are committed to increasing quality and quantity of audio content so our prices are highly competitive:

£125plus VAT per hour

Studio hire and production engineer support

  • Use our state of the art facilities and technology

£40plus VAT per hour

Post-production

  • We fine tune your work with precise cutting and blending to create a seamless production
  • Our post-production experts use specialised software to maximise the quality of your audio to give you the best possible sound
